Solana: Placement

Placement follows CABO Solana from delivery through to its final position on site.

This was the point where the finished home stopped being a factory build and became part of a real place.

Arrival, turning space, ground conditions, final position, access, and the surrounding site all mattered once the home was actually there.

What this stage showed

Placement did not create the plan. It showed how the plan needed to work on the actual site.

Power, water, waste and safe access were already essential. Once CABO Solana was in position, the remaining layout could adapt around those priorities.

Where CABO Solana landed affected the stairs, drainage, outdoor space, solar, services and every stage that followed.

The lesson

Delivery is not the end of the job.

Once a tiny home is placed, the practical gaps become obvious very quickly. Entry, ground levels, services, weather exposure, outdoor use, and day-to-day access all need real answers.

CABO Solana was in position, but the site still had work to do.

Connected to FM DIRECT

What we learned during placement shapes how FM DIRECT approaches site readiness and access.

Before delivery, buyers need to know whether the site can handle the vehicle, the turning space, the final position, the ground conditions, service access, and the work that will still be needed once the home arrives.

Next stage

Once CABO Solana was placed, the next step was showing the finished home in use and looking more closely at the final result.
